I am actively part of my local church.

A missionary goes to do evangelism, lead people to Christ, disciple them, and form them into groups of locally active believers (called a church) who have local impact through their lives and testimonies.  To do this, a missionary should have already had both a model of church functioning biblically and locally and also been involved in the various activities of a church.  He or she should understand by model and experience the following aspects of church life:

1. The Upward life of the church (worshipping, loving, hearing, and obeying God)
